Great Walks of Australia: The Margaret River Cape to Cape Walk

The Cape to Cape walk is a long-distance coastal walking trail that runs 135 km from the lighthouse at Cape Naturaliste to the lighthouse at cape Leeuwin. The trail is down the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge in Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. It’s located in the famed holiday hot spot, The Margaret River Region which is known for its vineyards, caves, and a beautiful coast with beaches, cliffs, and surf. The Margaret River Region is located about 250 km south of the Western Australia capital city of Perth. The Cape to Cape Walk Track takes 5 to 7 days to complete; however you can spend longer on the walk by adding in extra days to relax or spend in the National Park and surrounding region.
